‘Modern Family’s’ Jesse Tyler Ferguson wants to host Tony Awards

HollywoodNews.com: If Jesse Tyler Ferguson’s dream of hosting the 2011 Tony Awards comes true, he would follow in the footsteps of Neil Patrick Harris and Sean Hayes and make it three years in a row that the ceremony is hosted by an openly gay man.

The ‘Modern Family’ star tells the ‘NY Post’: “Thanks to ‘Modern Family’ I’m in a place where I might actually bring viewers to the Tony Awards that might not necessarily tune in otherwise – which is awesome.”
