Kristen Stewart doesn’t see the point of interviews Kristen Stewart may get paid major money to be an actress, but she doesn’t think that should mean she has to do interviews.

Stewart, who has not made it a secret that she dislikes fame, admits she doesn’t believe her job is to be interviewed, states Hollyscoop. “I do my work, same as you, why do I have to talk about it? I just want to be an actor,” Stewart says about the process.

She also revealed that she has been through interview training sessions, but wasn’t quite on board for that as well.

Do you think actors should have to go through interviews?

I think that she has every right to feel that way. That’s not really going to change the way the machine works, but I don’t see why everyone harps on her about being “ungrateful.” That doesn’t mean she has to like what you want her to like and act the way you want her to act. She makes movies, she doesn’t have to pander to you and talk about how much she loves everything about fame and just spew BS about how lucky she is. At least the girl is honest.

First of all, I value the honesty and appreciate the honest people. She is definitely honest,or at least more honest than others, and I really like that. I fully understand her, because her job is primarily to get into acting and she works very well, but not to prepare for interviews and to speak what others want to hear and always remembered what she was talking about how someone would not be disappointed. She is really young actress, and I’m glad that she brought up in such a way, and I’m glad because she has such thoughts about life. Finally appears someone like that in Hollywood. 🙂 You should appreciate that Kristen is an excellent actress, very talented. If you love Kristen, or maybe it’s better to say, if you respect her work, effort and everything she does, then you need to interests above all her career, not stupid untruths that write stupid tabloids.

I believe interviews are very important because like Rob said once its the only time you can talk about something that has been writen about you thats not true. its the only time you can get your words out.

Most actors don’t like it, but I still don’t think she said this. People take quotes from other interviews and piece them together creating an entirely different vibe to the story. This snippet of an article reads like the writer is trying to invoke a negative response from the reader. Sorry, the audience and myself are over it. This is a non story. Actors do interviews to promote their movies and that will never change. Why do I care whether or not they should or should not do interviews? This question should be directed to movie companies and industry insiders not to the general public. The actors are not obligated to like the promotion aspect of movie making. Kristen is honest enough to admit it. Gotta give her credit for that. Move on.
