“DWTS'” Tony Dovolani weighs in on Bristol Palin’s success

HollywoodNews.com: With the “Dancing with the Stars” competition boiling down to the end, it’s no surprise that contestants are wondering how Bristol Palin is still in the game while fan favorites have gotten voted off week after week.

Pro dancer Tony Dovolani gave his opinion as to why Palin has stayed in the game this long at last night’s “American Music Awards.” He told Hollyscoop, “It’s because of her mom. It doesn’t take away that she has worked her tail off, she doesn’t take it for granted she goes out there and puts an effort, what are you going to do.”

Meanwhile, Maksim Chmerkovskly gave his opinion a little more bluntly saying, “I highly doubt its anything about her. It’s more her mom but you know, it is what it is. I totally think it’s the association…obviously.”

Do you agree with their opinions?

Yes I agree with them….it’s like a slap in the face for them. They work too hard for this foolery to carry on.

I think Toni and Max are spoil sports! They should not be making comments like that. Shame on them!

I feel sorry for Bristol. Give her a break. She has no dance experience and that is the whole idea of the show. I have not voted for her, and I have voted for Kyle, but she’s just a young girl, and its not her fault. People are cruel and its a shame. Maks is upset he got voted off, which is understandable. Brandy was my favorite to win in the beginning but every time she opened up her conceited mouth I became more and more annoyed. Do I think she deserved to be there? yes, but I was not too upset that she was voted off either. Her and Maks needed their high egos taken down a notch. Audrina should have stayed, and I was surprised she was voted off that early. The only problem she had was not showing emotion on the dance floor, but other than that she had everything together.

People love Sarah Palin so much they will vote for her daughter in a dance contest. There is nothing wrong with that.

I thought this was a dance competition not a political arena. Jennifer and Derek should win and if they don’t I guess they can take the show off the air. I know I won’t watch it anymore!
