Previously Released “Harry Potter” Films to be Converted into 3-D?

HollywoodNews.com: With the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 this past weekend and next summer’s release of the final film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2, Warner Bros. has apparently made plans to keep the film franchise alive, at least for a short while.

Various sources are reporting today that Warner Bros. is planning to re-distribute all of the current films (1-7) in 3-D format after the scheduled 3-D release of Hallows – Part 2. This follows a previous announcement that the films will also receive the 3-D treatment on Blu-Ray DVD.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 will be released in theaters in 2-D and 3-D formats on July 15, 2011.
