Britney Spears refutes claim that she was beaten

HollywoodNews.com: The alleged recording of Britney Spears, claiming that she was beaten by current boyfriend Jason Trawick, is completely false, according to Spears’ camp. The conversation allegedly took place between Spears and former husband, Jason Alexander, where Spears complained that Trawick “beat on” her.

According to TMZ, the woman in the taped conversation is not Spears. The story, which originally appeared in Star Magazine and Radaronline, is completely false, according to one of Spears’ co-conservators, Andrew Wallet.

“Star Magazine was informed of the falsity of the story before it was published. All the statements attributable to Jason Alexander [in the Star Magazine story] are completely fabricated. The audio recording posted on RadarOnline is a fraud and it is NOT Britney.”

It seems as though controversey follows Spears, even if it has to be made up.
