Britney Spears’ rep says audio is ‘so obviously fake as to be laughable’
HollywoodNews.com: Britney Spears has been the center of controversy today as alleged audio recordings of her accusing that Jason Trawick “beat” on her have been surfacing around the web after Star magazine brought up the story.
However, then one of Britney Spears’ co-conservators, Andrew Wallet, claimed that the audio was not Britney’s voice at all. Now, Britney’s rep has given a statement to TMZ in which they state that the audio is “so obviously fake as to be laughable. Suffice it to say, Jason Trawick has never laid a hand on Britney.”
They go on to say, “This is just another example of the irresponsible nature of the tabloid media relying on shoddy sources and false information for the sole purpose of selling magazines, without regard to the truth and without regard to who they hurt in the process.”
