Lindsay Lohan may have the upper hand on DUI case

HollywoodNews.com: Lindsay Lohan is busy completing her rehab treatment at the Betty Ford center and it looks like she may have some more luck finally heading her way.

She is set to appear in court in April 2011 for the civil lawsuit filed against her for her 2007 DUI arrest. However, her civil attorney, Ed McPherson, told Radar Online that the allegations against Lohan are “weak.”

He said, “For instance, they have a claim for ‘battery’ which is what most people would construe as one person punching another person. The judge acknowledged that Lindsay never even touched any of the boys, but that somebody, somewhere, might construe what she did as a ‘battery’.”

In addition, he adds that Lohan still has to appear in court “for two hours to answer questions about whether she has any ‘regrets’.”

It looks like things are finally turning around for the actress.
