‘Glee’ cast makes musical instruments for disadvantaged schools

HollywoodNews.com: The cast of ‘Glee’ took some time to give back to disadvantaged schools by creating handmade musical instruments with a group of children.

Stars such as Matthew Morrison, Cory Monteith, Chris Colfer, Mark Salling, Jenna Ushkowitz, Jayma Mays and others teamed up with American Express, TakePart and Education Through Music for the charity event, states TooFab. This special event will benefit disadvantaged schools in the Los Angeles area.

At the end of the charity event, American Express reportedly donated $100,000 to Education Through Music which helps to promote music education in schools.
