Kathy Griffin justifies ‘scandalous jokes’ against Bristol Palin

HollywoodNews.com: Kathy Griffin is usually the one dishing on celebrities and hitting where it hurts the most, but now, Griffin is on the defensive as an onslaught of Bristol Palin supporters have deemed Griffin’s alleged ‘attack’ on Palin “bullying.”

As reported, Griffin referred to Palin as the “white Precious” at a VH1 Divas concert to support the troops. Amid a crowd of boos, Griffin defended herself, but the backlash continues.

Griffin chatted with Chelsea Handler on her late-night talk show to discuss the matter. “I made several scandalous jokes, as I like to do, and I stand by all of them,” Griffin continued. “There’s a big difference between being a comedian and bullying. It is a job. It’s what we do,” Digital Spy reports.

Seems a little funny that supporters of Palin would attack Griffin as being a “bully” when Palin herself engaged in a homophobic facebook rant with younger sister, Willow. What do you think? Let us know.

Kathy Griffin is a vulgar, camel-faced hag. Bristol is sweet & pretty.

Kathy Griffin ,”American soldiers are too dumb and stupid to enjoy my jokes. No wonder Sen John Kerry says that those idiots who don’t study hard would end up in the US military. What an advice of wisdom.”

Kathy Griffin is a nutcase, but Bristol DID gain weight during DWTS. The troops didn’t like it, they booed. White Precious it hilarious. Bristol can call people names but Kathy Grifin can’t? One is a comedian and the other is the unwed daughter of a half term governor, who is worse?

Really Andrew – you’re going to compare Palin to Griffin. Griffin’s was a well thought out, rehearsed monologue. Palin’s, though wrong, was a rant from a young person who hasn’t been educated to the world around her and the lifestyles that exist. Good way to trash your credibility – knucklehead!

Bristol is ridiculous. Kathy was out of line, but she always is and ummmmmmmm, welcome to being a celbrity on the front line. What did she think was going to happen when she porked up while wearing a skimpy outfit. They need to go back to Alaska, eat their whale blubber and leave us alone!
