Robert Pattinson fan gives up $80,000 for meeting

HollywoodNews.com: We all know that Robert Pattinson is one hot commodity, but when you put it into dollars and cents, it’s still a little astounding. A fan reportedly paid $80,000 just for the opportunity to meet Pattinson on the set of Breaking Dawn.

“Bidding was definitely intense!” Said Glenda Luft, director of communications for CharityBuzz, the company who put on the auction. “The package was hovering at $47,000 for a few days and then at $67,000, but we were so thrilled to see it jump to $80,000 in the very last moments of the auction.” She continued.

Looks like Pattinson is quite the draw. Reps of the GO campaign were thrilled when they learned they snagged the Twilight package for their charity. “The GO Campaign was thrilled when we learned we’d have this ‘Twilight’ auction item because of all the good work it will help us accomplish,” Scott Fifer, executive director of the GO Campaign, said. “The funds raised will help us support tens of thousands of children around the world.” MTV.com reports.
