Kanye West is the “Hollywood Celebrity of the Week” Kanye West has had his fair share of dark days behind him, but with his latest release of “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy,” even Kanye haters are admitting that he has once again made a mark on the music industry.

Kanye has managed to come clean with the new album, reflecting on his regrets and even admitting his faults. His effort has now placed him as Spin’s “Best Album of 2010,” Time’s “Top 10 Album” of 2010, and Billboard’s Critics Picks’ Top Album of 2010. In addition, Spin named his single “Power” the number seven best song of 2010, the NY Post placed his album number two on their “Top 10 albums” chart, and his album was the third highest selling album on iTunes ending the week of December 13th.

In addition, the rapper is nominated for a Grammy for “Best Rap Solo Performance” for his song “Power.” Kanye may have had his faults in the past, but no one can deny that his latest effort is one that has made history for good. Therefore, we are proud to announce that Kanye West is the “Hollywood Celebrity of the Week.”

I’m still not really feeling Kanye.. I’ve always thought he was an excellent producer, but a horrible artist. I do think it’s good that he’s trying to fess up to some of the things that he’s said/done..
