HollywoodNews.com: Despite having a roller coaster of a year, Sandra Bullock is still an inspiration to many, having recently been named People’s ‘Woman of the Year’ for 2010. Bullock has had an emotional ride this year with her Oscar-winning performance in The Blind Side, her sudden divorce from husband, Jesse James, and her subsequent adoption of baby, Louis, whom the star has been spending a lot of time with.

People Magazine voted Bullock ‘Woman of the Year’ based on the difficult journey that Bullock has experienced over the past year. The honor is bestowed upon her in the upcoming issue of People that announces their annual list of the year’s most intriguing people. Other intriguing people on the list include Bret Michaels, Kim Kardashian, Kate Middleton, and Prince William.

Seems odd to me that someone who didnt care about there husband enough so he had to go out and find love elsewhere would win this award. Good actress and great perfoamnces, but at what expense.
