Nicollette Sheridan drops charges against ‘Desperate Housewives’ creator
HollywoodNews.com: After taking on the role of villain on Desperate Housewives, Sheridan soon found herself playing the victim. Sheridan filed charges against Desperate Housewives creator, Marc Cherry, alleging that Cherry, physically and mentally abused her during her stint on the series. Sheridan has since dropped her $20 million suit.
When Sheridan initially filed documents in April, she said that Cherry “took her aside and forcefully hit her with his hands across her face and head.” In another turn of events, the defense has dropped their request for a physical and psychological evaluation of Sheridan following the dropping of the lawsuit, Celebrity Cafe reports.
