Robert Pattinson, Reese Witherspoon in first “Water for Elephants” trailer

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: 20th Century Fox today announced release dates and summaries for its early 2011 slate. In the presser were details about a “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” sequel (yay!), a “Big Momma’s House” sequel (yikes!) and brief plot details on the potential summer blockbusters “X-Men: First Class” and “Rise of the Apes.”

But buried in the middle of the release was a link to a “Water for Elephants” trailer that’s being hosted on Apples movie trailer site. How long has that been up?

“Elephants,” of course, stars Robert Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon in a film adaptation of Sara Gruen’s novel about a veterinary student who joins the circus after his parents are killed.

Or visit Apple’s site to see it in high definition.

“Elephants,” which is directed by Francis Lawrence, reaches theaters on April 15.
