Kim Kardashian brings the star treatment to the NBA The Nets are at quite a dramatic crossroads for the season, but it has nothing to do with the action on the court. Kris Humphries, the forward of the New Jersey Nets, found himself blushing during game interviews, but not because of a comeback performance by the Nets, rather Humphries was fielding questions regarding his rumored relationship with Kim Kardashian.

Luckily, Humphries didn’t entertain the banter for long. “I understand you’re trying to do your job,” Humphries told the sportscaster, “but in here it’s all about basketball.” When pushed further, Humphries said “Right now, my focus is really basketball and trying to turn this team around.”

The Nets may not be the best on the court, but they do have a lot of star power with Jay-Z being part owner of the team and Sasha Vujacic, who is engaged to Maria Sharapova, being recently traded to the team, New York Times reports.

Do you think Kardashian is a distraction to the game? Should topics other than basketball even be discussed by commentators? Let us know what you think.
