Katy Perry reveals her first date with Russell Brand
HollywoodNews.com: It sounds like from the start Katy Perry and Russell Brand were quite smitten with each other and that feeling seems to have continued on into their marriage.
Perry recently revealed details about their first date to ‘Grazia’ magazine and how he swept her off her feet, states Starpulse. “Russell gave this [necklace] to me on our first date. It’s a Hindu hand of peace. But they’re not beads, they are black diamonds.”
Not only did Brand woo her with diamonds, but he also gave her a glimpse into his life. Perry asked for a copy of his book, ‘My Booky Wooky,’ and he obliged. “He opened the book and wrote in it, ‘You’re a mermaid and I’m drowning,’” Perry says about the romantic and overwhelming first date.
