Vin Diesel teasing third “Riddick” film on Facebook

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: Did you join Vin Diesel’s Facebook page the other week in order to view the “Fast Five” trailer earlier than most?

If so, then you might also be picking up a few teases for yet another sequel to a Diesel-powered franchise.

Vin has been dropping hints about a third “Chronicles of Riddick” film with David Twohy, who directed not only “COR” but also “Pitch Black.”

“So the director of Riddick, my partner on COR since the beginning, DT… has a new challenge in store. He wants me to have 3 different body looks for this next chapter…”

Now, no one really knew (publically) that there would be another “Riddick” installment. It has been nearly seven years since “Chronicles” came out, and Diesel has bene tied up in “Furious” sequels.

But it appears he’s ready to blast back into the stratosphere to play the heroic sci-fi criminal … anda few other characters, as well.

“There is the DiNorscio type, the Dom type, and the lean Furyan type,” Diesel posts on Facebook. “But all in the same movie, haha… When it comes to art, we all like a challenge.”

Here’s the art:

More on a third “Riddick” as Diesel posts it.
