2010 Greggys: Adam Lambert is Music Star of the Year
By Greg Hernandez
HollywoodNews.com: When the year began, Adam Lambert was still living down his controversial performance at the 2009 American Music Awards.
What I saw from him after that was most impressive: He simply got to work. Adam focused not on the hype, but on his music and on his live shows and proved himself to be a total professional.
Adoring fans from around the world flocked to his shows during Adam’s six month Glam Nation Tour in support of his ‘For Your Entertainment’ album.
The openly gay performer, who we barely remember anymore was the 2009 runner-up on American Idol, was tireless as he did concerts, appeared on radio and television and kept his fans updated about it all on Twitter.

You cannot help but loving Adam. You were right, he proves with every song and every word or step – to be a true, dedicated professional and OH! such charismatic, inspirational, gorgeous and beautiful human.
I am happy I had the chance to witness the raise of ADAM – THE SUPERSTAR of this decade!
Greg Hernandez, thank you for the nice article on Adam Lambert. Adam Lambert is one of the most focused, ambitious, and talented artists of our time. His ever so beautiful voice caresses the soul. Ever since I’ve discovered Adam Lambert I just can’t get enough, I’ll be a forever fan, that will love him and support him always.
As for his controversial performance on the AMA’s, it’s 2010 is it not? I’ve seen much worse on Canadian day time television. As for his sexual preference, that is really none of anyone’s business. Focus on the music because he certainly gives us his all!
I saw Adam in concert. I took 3 other people with me who did not know who he was. They knew the song Whataya Want From Me from the radio. All 3 came away big fans and are always asking me when the next concert is and what’s the latest news.
“The openly gay performer, who we barely remember anymore…” Um, then why write about him?
Sandra – LOL! I didn’t even notice that part! I think he was referring to the “openly gay” thing…Greg is clearly an Adam fan
) Thanks Greg!
Barely remember? Are you kidding!!!!
What a nutty statement — everybody remembers Adam Lambert. He’s a SUPERSTAR!
Big fan in Texas.
i think Greg Wanted to say we barely remember he was the runner-up oh 8 th season of AI because the winner who? is nowhere . Is a great honour for Adam to be choose by Greg The Star of the Year
Sandra, you misread the sentence. Reread it again. It’s a compliment, and very true.
Gee, you guys don’t read, do ya
Article says (poorly I admit) that we hardly remember Adam was Idol runner-up!!! Please leave off the “openly gay.” That has become an unnecessary and really offensive comment. He is an awesome singer and performer and gorgeous to men and women.
Boy, I have to agree with you guys who are tired of hearing the “openly gay” description. Enough already. He would like to be known as the talented singer, Adam Lambert
