Probation Department is crucial to Lindsay Lohan’s freedom

HollywoodNews.com: After Lindsay Lohan got herself into another heaping load of trouble, it looks like only one thing can save her: the L.A. County Probation Department. Sources have learned that the department will not recommend Lohan’s probation be revoked until she is convicted of the alleged battery.

After an altercation with fellow Betty Ford resident, Dawn Holland, the department decided to withhold their recommendation from Judge Elden fox until Lindsay is convicted of criminal battery, but things get a little more convoluted regarding Lindsay’s alleged drinking.

Since Lindsay violated her parole by not succumbing to a breathalyzer test, this would appear to be grounds for a recommendation, but no such thing has been filed by the department as of yet, according to TMZ.
