Zac Efron shows off short crop for “Lucky One” role

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: Zac Efron wasn’t one of those actors known for his hair, like Jennifer Aniston back in her “Friends” days. But the “High School Musical” celeb did turn a few heads by shaving his head for a part in “The Lucky One.”

In the film, adapted from a Nicholas Sparks best-seller, Efron plays a Marine who returns home from multiple tours of duty and begins looking for the lady who was his good luck charm for years. Scott Hicks directs the film, while Blythe Danner co-stars.

But it was a lucky fan who posted a picture of herself with Efron on Twitter who “broke” the style story. See the photo here.

“The Lucky One” recently wrapped a 10-week shoot in New Orleans. According to IMDB, it’s targeting a 2012 release.
