Adam Lambert drops clues about sophmore album

HollywoodNews.com: After such an amazing year, it seems like Adam Lambert is already looking towards 2011. The singer recently spilled the beans regarding his upcoming, sophomore album, revealing several clues that fans will certainly eat right up.

The album, which should drop late spring/early summer, is set to be another outstanding album, but what does Lambert have to say about the album? In a recent interview with a french publication, Lambert had this to say.

“I have not yet started but I have ideas … The next will be more focused on a particular topic. With the first I wanted to write something that gives the public an opportunity to know me overall as a kind of presentation. Now I wish that each disc has a more specific topic. You know what I mean? What is with ‘For Your Entertainment,’ that it gave me several options to take directions, and it made me aware of what was possible. The result will always rock but also electronica and pop. In fact it’ll probably be in the vein of ‘Whataya Want From Me.'”

My guess is that there will no be complaint coming from Lambert fans knowing that one of his most popular singles will be a thematic influence to the whole affair, reports Examiner.

It will be difficult to top his present album FYE. It has such a good variety, FEVER, SFW, STRUT, WWFM, AFTERMATH and on and on. I trust his judgement and just hope he doesn’t get stuck in any ruts. Bring it on..

I’m sure whatever Adam does with his album it will be brilliant, I loved the variety on FYE. I’m hoping for more songs written by him on this next Album, his own songs on the last one were the best, I actually preferred Broken Open and Down The Rabbit Hole to Whataya want from me.

Adam can sing his face off! any genre of music for him would be amazing!! but personally- i would love for him to go more SOUL! his version for “a change is gonna come” still blows my mind. CANT WAIT TO BUY THE ALBUM!!!

Just can’t wait to see what is coming next from this phenomenal artist, already saving my pennies for his next tour, would also love more songs authored or co-authored by Adam, but whatever he does I will purchase and love because he does more than sing-he touches our hearts and lives-good luck Adam on that Grammy-I am pulling for you.

I didn’t mind the eclectic feel and variety on FYE at all, in fact I loved it… and I think Adam Lambert’s thoughts on us all moving towards being a “PLAYLIST” society anyway are right on the money and albums with more eclectic offerings fit right into that reality, I think Lambert’s comments on that were brilliant. However, it certainly will be interesting to see Lambert put out a more traditionally cohesive cd, I can’t wait. The fact of the matter is that the dude blows it out the box every time, never disappoints, ever, and is so reliable that its addictive… voice of a generation, and sh*t, nice guy too.. what’s not to love. He is a great entertainer and I hope more people get on board in 2011.

    I can’t wait!! I’m sure it’ll be fabulous!!

Adam Lambert could do no wrong, anything he touches turns to gold. Adam Lambert is the most talented singer/artist today ROCK ON ADAM LAMBERT!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think if Adam continues with songs like WWFM, Sleepwalker, FEVER, SOAKED, IIHY just to mention a few he’ll have another hit CD. At least this time he’ll have more time to be creative and write or co-write songs. Personally I love DTRH and Voodoo. Hope he gets to work with Sam Sparro, Greg Wells, Alisan Porter, Aimed Mayo, Claude Kelly, Ferras. Hint:
Put out more singles please SW, Fever and Aftermath would have been huge hits.
