Mark Wahlberg dishes Oscars & ‘Fighter’ with Gold Derby

“The Fighter” marks the second time Mark Wahlberg threw some surprise punches at the Oscars. The first occasion was in 2006 when Wahlberg emerged as the only cast member of Best Picture champ “The Departed” to be nominated for acting — leaving Jack Nicholson and Leonardo DiCaprio on the ropes. Now his “Fighter” is a heavyweight contender in the current derby where it will certainly be nominated for Best Picture … and might even win. We discuss both derbies with the slugger.
