Miley Cyrus thanks her fans for the “best year yet” Miley Cyrus is apparently pretty pleased with how 2010 went down although it ended on somewhat of a sour note with her bong matter.

However, the teen star took some time to thank her fans for making the year so great, states Just Jared. “I want to tell you guys thank you because I think this year has been really important and you guys have definitely proved to me your love and this bond that we have,” Miley said in a video to her fans.

And while she loved 2010, the singer and actress is ready to take on 2011 with the help of her many loyal fans.

Do you think Miley Cyrus will have a successful 2011?

Despite Hollywood Records deliberately sabotaging sales for Miley’s album, “Can’t Be Tamed”, 2010 was wildly successful for Miley on practically every level, and I predict 2011 will be even better for her. Most people learn to ignore the conclusions of shoddy gossip sites and the way they blow insignificant events all out of proportion. The reality is in the statistics that show 2010 was Miley’s best earning year, full of triumphs, like her first non-Disney movie, the wrapping up of production for the final season of her Disney TV show, a great new album, her stint as an American Idol mentor, and many memorable appearances on award shows, talk shows and other venues for her great music and acting talents. Maybe now that she’s 18 and an adult, some certain snarky, uptight, holier-than-thou gossip twits will avoid nasty uncalled for comments on Miley’s private life and focus on her great music and acting. I don’t want my entertainers to act like Mother Theresa, I want them to give us great performances. What they do in their private life is their own business!

Yes, Chris, Miley had a great, very successful year. However, I expect the gossip bottom-feeding blogs to intensify their idiocy about Miley and more wrong comparisons made to Lindsay Lohan. The thing is, they want a wild-child next Lindsay. Can’t do Ali Lohan, she’s eschewing being in the spotlight and she actually doesn’t exhibit Lindsay’s issues, Taylor Momsen isn’t big enough, Miley is huge and because people are so uptight about sexuality being displayed by a teenager, even a legal adult, they’ll state that if she parties a bit and acts sexual on stage that she’s a trainwreck. Of course, Miley is way different than Lindsay, nothing like her, from one of her parents being in the industry to her godmother being an industry legend/icon to no addiction or criminal records in her family to Miley’s own strong sense of self and confidence, their differences couldn’t be any clearer. Ironically, it is the successful in her own right Demi Lovato but not the household name that Miley is that is the most like Lindsay Lohan. But instead of the gossip sites and their readership wishing someone like Demi well, they long for a teenage “new” LIndsay Lohan. Pathetic.

@Chris, I don’t know about “deliberately sabotaging”. I feel that since this was Miley’s last album with Hollywood Records, they probably put junior people on the project, and miniimized their risk by not pushing Miley’s album very hard. I couldn’t help but notice that there wasn’t much of an effort for the Hannah Montana 4 CD, either, neither in content or promotion. But this is probably just usual cuthroat music business procedures. When Disney had already sold Miramax, the last Miramax film Disney had the duty to distribute was The Tempest with Helen Mirren and Russell Brand. Not only is Disney not spending money promoting a title that already had a bit of buzz, but they seem to have put very junior people to oversea it’s release as indicated by a big mixup they had at it’s premiere.

Anyway, Miley’s 2011 films should be even bigger than the ones she filmed in 2010.
