“Wimpy Kid” sequel, “Rodrick Rules,” gets trailer

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: You can have Justin Bieber, whose 3D movie has placed a vice grip on February. The O’Connell family patiently waits for March, when the second “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” movie, “Rodrick Rules,” arrives in theaters.

We’re a house of boys, and my soon-to-be 7-year-old son has taken to Jeff Kinney’s “Wimpy Kid” novels like a bee to honey. Which means we’ve become a “Wimpy Kid” household. We play a “Cheese Touch” board game. We watch the first movie often. And my oldest boy reads a chapter of the books to his little brother before bed.

Want to know why boys like Greg Heffley (Zachary Gordon) and his friends so much? Just watch the new trailer for “Rodrick Rules,” which is up on Yahoo! Movies. Burp and poop jokes in the first minute? Yeah, my boys will be sold.

Here’s a YouTube clip of the trailer:

The sequel — directed by David Bowers and starring previous “Wimpy Kid” players Gordon, Steve Zahn and Rachael Harris — comes out on March 25.

Saw the Trailer for Diary of a wimpy Kid 2, Rodrick Rules and couln”t stop laughing! It lools to be a very funny movie. Can’t wait to see it. Expect it to be a Big HIt this coming spring. Love the books, love the stories, love the acting in the movie, especially by the main character-Greg Heffly (played by wonderkinder-Zachary Gordon) He made the first movie special.

Second movie looks even funnier then the first and we didn’t think that was possible. Whether you’re a tween, a teen, an adult, think your an adult, or grandparent….go see this excellenet movie,,,.you will laugh your heart out and mostly really be entertained!
