“Inception,” “Harry Potter” honored by Visual Effects wizards

Hollywoodnews.com: One of the most visually arresting films of 2010, Christopher Nolan’s “Inception” has been recognized by the Visual Effects Society in its annual awards nominations.

The 9th Annual VES Awards will recognize outstanding visual effects artistry in 24 categories of film, animation, television, commercials and video games. Nominees, which were chosen over the weekend and released this morning, include “Inception,” “Iron Man 2,” “Tron: Legacy,” “Alice In Wonderland” and “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1.”
