Adam Lambert is a fan of Britney Spears’ new song

HollywoodNews.com: It seems Britney Spears’ new song “Hold It Against Me” is already a hit with other musicians including former ‘American Idol’ contestant Adam Lambert.

Lambert took to his Twitter to reveal his opinion on the recently released song: “Wow new Britney is a hot one.”

But it wasn’t just Britney’s work that he loved about the song. Lambert made sure to give credit to everything that made the song as good as he thinks it is: “Dubstep bridge is nuts!! Amazing production @TheDoctorLuke.”

Do you agree with Adam Lambert about Britney Spears’ new song?

I’m rooting for Britney. She went through a tough time and she’s a great performer. It would be great to see Adam Lambert and Britney Spears perform together. Two people with such great stage performance abilities would bring down the house

the song is sucks as usual !! bad sexual song !!
for me ..baby one more time is the bigest britney hit smash song !!

Really? That awful song. Adam has lost all my respect.

Personally I think it was more of a shoutout to Dr. Luke than a compliment to Britney. Adam worked with Dr. Luke on his first album and I’m sure he’d like to working on his second album which is in the beginning stages. Adam knows how to be subtle when necessary. JMHO

Adam certainly didn’t rave about Britney’s talent. He’s got an ear forproduction and track mixing. He’s also a nice, tactful guy and he knows it doesn’t hurt to be nice.

Adam . Why you keep commenting on other artist song while no other artist ever tweet you how great is your songs. Stop it. Just focus on you and your fan.

I take what he pimps as a grain of salt at times. He has in the past directed me to awesome artists/bands, or songs, I may not have taken a listen to sooner if at all. Not huge fan of auto-tune and electro remixes though, so I’m probably not the person to gauge on this call-out. I take this tweet for what it was, to give recognition to Dr. Luke, somebody he respects in the industry. Not surprised Brit’s peeps said she won’t be performing at Grammy’s. Kind of hard to pull off auto-tune live.

Britney is not only the best singer but also the attractive dancer, preety. I am her lover.

outo-tune song never been good when sing live. Thats why they do lipsing.
    thats suck

  • January 12, 2011 | Permalink |

Whoever sed he/she lost respect for adam just coz he complimented one song that you don’t like… OVERSENSITIVE MUCH!?

  • January 12, 2011 | Permalink |

Plus, ppl forget a song is not only whether the singer can or cannot sing. First there’s melody, phrasing, production, instrumentals. Adam might be referring to that whole aspect. Ok, kesha’s tikt tok, I’m not a fan of her singing but at least the MELODY is catchy.

i don’t know what was adam lambert trying to achieve but i do not agree with him. britney’s song as usual so autotuned and i would’t say it is a good song. sucking up lambert ha!

Adam Lambert is generous to other artists for their specific efforts. And he’s a personal friend of Dr Luke so of course he’s going to acknowledge him

  • January 12, 2011 | Permalink |

Not a fan of the song. I, too, think it was a shout out to Dr. Luke. It never hurts to say something positive about another artist. Love you Adam!

They all want to get into the act again after being gone for a long time and I am not A Brittney Spears fan….I am glad she is back doing what she loves , I guess , but she trys, just don’t like her singing, at all….I am an Adam Lambert fan…..he has wonderful music and entertainment…and he has his clothes on which is more than I can say for a lot of singers….

Adam is in awe and appreciates everyone that helped him on his album like Dr. Luke. The song is just a song. I wish they would have given it to someone with a good voice, not just some T&A performer. But since she recored it I wish her luck.

  • January 12, 2011 | Permalink |

Adam, really? Sorry, I am not feeling it. Britney is a very sexy performer and I am sure that song will be a hit anyway, but I am not a fan. I am kind of tired of those autotuned, overproduced, predictable tracks.

  • January 12, 2011 | Permalink |

Adam is giving credit to the author, Dr.Luke and also, Adam is a nice person, always more on the positive side, some people should learn from him, don’t be negative or mean.
Like a prevoius comment, I wish other singers would endorse Adam, after all he IS the best, his live acoustic is wounderful, I like all of his work and I am waiting for his next album but this last one is just too much, wonderful voice.
All the best for 2011, I have a feeling it’s going to be even better for him than 2010.

I’ll never understand the allure of Britney Spears. She lacks any real talent and can barely sing. She puts out a song and it climbs to the top. I’m sure Adam is just trying to compliment the mixing of Dr. Luke and trying to be nice. That’s ok. But top 40 radio is just terrible these days and I’m disappointed. Adam has one bad performance and radio stations don’t play him much. Britney is a train wreck and gets all the play time she needs. The industry is a joke.

  • January 12, 2011 | Permalink |

@Glmaity58 You’re absolutely right. She is a train wreck and maybe Adam’s compliment was meant for Dr. Luke. I listened to the song and there is no substance to it. I listen to top 40 and not all the songs are bad. Bruno Mars’ latest Grenade is great. You should give it listen and it has a real good video.
Not sure what to expect from Adam’s next cd. You need to go pop if you want to make the radio airplay but I hope he can mix in some rock. He has insane vocals.
He should do a duet with Christina Aguilera. Now there is one singer with a powerful voice.

Not a fan of Britney. As for ADAM’s comment … sounded like he was giving Kudos to the song … not the singer. His comments about the bridge & the mix sounded like the shout out was directed at Dr. Luke … not Britney!

@Freya77 … Agree with your comments … BOTH of them!
