“Glee” creator Ryan Murphy reflects on early Golden Globe wins

HollywoodNews.com: “Glee” continues to sweep up awards as it continued its streak at the Golden Globes last night. Not only did cast members Jane Lynch and Chris Colfer nab individual awards, but the show also took home Best Television Series, Comedy or Musical.

Creator Ryan Murphy continues to take in all the success that this young show has managed to achieve in such a short time. He told Access Hollywood, “We won last year and we had a lot of luck early with Jane [Lynch] and Chris [Colfer] winning, so I thought, ‘It’s ‘Modern Family,’ of course,’ a show we greatly admire. But I’m thrilled.”

He added, “I’m thrilled that our cast has doubled in a year, so there’s a lot of bright, beautiful faces who get to come up and experience it and it’s great. It’s all gravy at this point.”

The show is still gearing up for their highly anticipated episode right after the Super Bowl and we couldn’t be more excited for it.
