Adam Lambert is loving ‘American Idol’s’ new judges

HollywoodNews.com: Adam Lambert thinks that ‘American Idol’ has made a good decision with the new judges as he is a fan of both.

While the season has just started, Lambert spoke up right before it about his interest in Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez, states OnTheRedCarpet.com.

He calls Tyler a “legend” and is happy that ‘Idol’ will have some rock influence in the judging panel this season. In regard to Lopez, he remembers growing up on her music and thinks she is a “class act.”

Do you agree with Adam Lambert about the new judges?

Honestly I only tuned in to see the first episode because I wanted to see Steven Tyler and he did not dissapoint. He has such rock performance experience, over the top personality and makes great off the cuff remarks.
I note there is a new record label involved Interscope Geffen A&M with Jimmy Lovine working directly with contestants.
I can’t bear to watch all the auditions but will tune in occasionally when there are interesting mentors and 6 or 7 contestants left. However, who wants to see young Disney performs now that the age has been lowered.
Don’t know if Idol can last because they can’t produce another Adam. Actually they didn’t produce him – he ran the show during his season.!

Tyler was Tyler, which is a good thing. Had a sugar overdose from all the rest of the trio. I guess this year all you have to do is cry or beg and they will change their minds. Needs to get an edge, or I am not entertained.

Will seem like a baby show, lowering the age to 15..I get enough of that with Bieber….As for the Judges Steven Tyler is funny and I like to watch him…..think he will make the show after the first few rounds…Do miss Simon and Paula….
Please don’t get any more young ones or Fantasia types which i do not care for and my choice….
The show need maturity, like best Adam there was…Now that was a show…….Miss seeing him sing…..

Peggyt-First I find your comment about young ones…and especially Fantasia…disturbing…Why ? It seems very judgemental…Yes she is a single mom…so what…There have been many single moms on this show…And there are many in this world…They struggle every day to make it and raise their children…I think it takes a hell of a lot of hard work and courage to do what these women do on a daily basis…As for young…I have no issue with letting 15 year olds try out…and frankly…most who did kick butt in auditions…As for Adam…his is amazing…show will never be the same…I have been watching show and find the new judges refreshing…Sometimes a little to nice…but refreshing…all the drama with Paula, Simon and Kara was getting a bit annoying..Talent has been ok…few good ones…but not anyone compared to Adam…Do not believe that will happen anytime soon..
