Hollywood A-listers Jennifer Aniston and Mark Wahlberg have joined forces to spread the love to those in need this Valentine’s day

hollywoodnews.com: Hollywood A-listers Jennifer Aniston and Mark Wahlberg have joined forces to spread the love to those in need this Valentine’s day by auctioning off two incredible experiences for the Charitybuzz Valentine’s Day Auction.

Jennifer Aniston is auctioning herself off on charitybuzz for the first time to support one of her favorite nonprofits. One winner and three very lucky friends will join Jennifer Aniston for a special screening of her newest film Just Go With It, also starring Adam Sandler, in New York City. Plus, Jen will pose for a photo with the winner on the red carpet! Proceeds will benefit Friends of Third, raising funds to provide computer labs, music teachers, and librarians for one of Los Angeles’ top public elementary schools, the Third Street School. Bidding is open through February 3rd at www.charitybuzz.com

Mark Wahlberg may be basking is the Oscar buzz of his most recent hit film The Fighter, but he’s taking a time out to auction off the chance for one winner to share a scene with him in his next film, Contaband, currently shooting in New Orleans. The action packed thriller also stars Kate Beckinsale, Lucas Haas, Giovanni Ribisi and Ben Foster. Proceeds from the walk-on role will benefit the Felix Organization, which provides inspiring opportunities and new experiences to enrich the lives of children who are growing up in the foster care system. Bidding is open through January 28th at www.charitybuzz.com/catalog_items/2542127

Other experiences up for auction for Valentine’s Day include a date with Padma Lakshmi, mosh pit seats for the GRAMMY awards with performances by Justin Bieber, Eminem and Katy Perry, a day on the set of The Office, the chance to meet Keith Urban, and tons more. The full auction can be found at www.charitybuzz.com/vday2011.

Charitybuzz aligns nonprofits with celebrity icons to give fans exclusive opportunities to make difference. Last year, charitybuzz raised $25 million for charities around the globe through its incredible online auctions.

Joined forces? In that they both auctioning themselves off? But it’s for different charities and the winner events are totally different.

So exactly how are they joining forces?

If this is the only way Americans can raise money for schools in LA they’re more retarded than I thought. Foster care, fair enough. Alright Mark.

I guess at least Jennifer is raising concern over an issue that she thinks is important.
