“Scream 4” teases first-look photo, trailer

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: A first-look photo for “Scream 4,” which features former couple Courtney Cox and David Arquette, arrived in our mailbox late last night. It was a tease for the latest “Scream 4” trailer, which we are posting below.

We’re still a few months from Wes Craven’s latest “Scream,” but the details we are learning about the sequel have piqued our interest.

For starters, most of the original cast returns (including Neve Campbell on top of Cox and Arquette). There’s also a gorgeous cast of fresh-faced meat for Ghostface to slaughter: Hayden Panettiere, Emma Roberts, Marley Shelton, Alison Brie, Kristen Bell and Anna Paquin. Sign us up.

The trailer reveals a few more of the horror-movie-within-a-horror-movie rules that the “Scream” franchise likes to exploit. Check it out here:

“Scream 4” will be in theaters on April 15.
