Selena Gomez once rejected by Disney for not being “strong enough” Selena Gomez wasn’t always a Dinsey darling as the network once thought she wouldn’t be able to front her own show.

She was once reportedly told by a casting director that she wasn’t “strong enough” to carry the show on her own, states Monsters and Critics.

But this criticism just made her work harder even though Disney executives didn’t think she should be a part of the channel. “[I]f you have something you’re really passionate about, don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t do it,” Gomez says about making her dreams happen.

Do you think Selena Gomez was perfect for Disney?

why did they think she want strong enough???

Whoever that casting director was was a very smart person to not cast Selena Gomez in the show’s leading role and in it whatsoever. Wizards of Waverly Place is not a funny show at all and Selena Gomez cannot sing. She has dated Nick Jonas, Taylor Lautner, and now Justin Bieber, all of whom I have a crush on. She was a cougar when she dated Nick and nowis one again because she is now dating Justin. I find her annoying. She is Miley Cyrus’ rival for fame and Selena will not always be innocent because all young stars slip up. I love Miley and hate Selena so stop saying bad thingsabout Miley all you haters and focus on Taylor Momson or Selena instead. Also, please do not insult Demi Lovato because she has been dealing with a lot of very stressful things lately. Because Selena decided to end their friendship so out of the blue and replaced her with Taylor Swift Selena also caused her breakdown. But Taylor has nothing to do with thisand is sweet and innocent when it comes to this and her life.

It’s not really about being strong enough, it’s about being hot enough, and she’s got the other 2 beat.
