Seth Rogen, Barbara Streisand playing mother and son in new comedy

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: Seth Rogen has had some unique co-stars over the years, from a stoned James Franco (“Pineapple Express”) and a dying Adam Sandler (“Funny People”) to international singing superstar Jay Chou (“The Green Hornet”).

But we haven’t seen anything yet.

Rogen will team with silver screen legend Barbara Streisand for “My Mother’s Curse,” a road comedy helmed by “The Proposal” director Anne Fletcher, according to THR. Rogen will play an amateur inventor who invites his mom (Streisand) on a cross-country trip as he attempts to peddle his latest gadget. Dan Fogelman’s script has bene in development for years, but finally landed a greenlight with producers Lorne Michaels, John Goldwyn Evan Goldberg )among others) in tow.

THR says shooting on “Curse” will begin this spring.
