Howard Stern attacks Jay Leno on Letterman’s show

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: The late-night war between David Letterman and Jay Leno heated up once again, this time because a morning-show personality fired off a few shots.

That would be Howard Stern, who appeared on Letterman’s talk show last night and went after Leno, who Stern openly has been criticizing ever since the Conan O’Brien debacle from last year.

“I’m ready to comment on this now,” Stern told Letterman. “You know as well as everyone in this room, Jay is horrible.” Stern then encouraged Letterman to go on the attack against his late-night rival, saying, “There should a whole attitude adjustment on this show.”

Despite Letterman’s best efforts to change topics, Stern continued to hammer away at Jay.

“Look, I love you, I’m in your corner,” Stern told Letterman. “I don’t want the same thing to happen to you that happened to Regis.”

Stern’s always an entertaining guest on Dave’s show, but do you think he went too far last night in attacking Leno? Let us know what you think.
