Robert Pattinson, Reese Witherspoon in “Water for Elephants” poster

By Sean O’Connell Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart aren’t ready to say goodbye to the “Twilight” franchise just yet.

The power couple has two “Breaking Dawn” films to unveil before they can move on to bigger, better things. But you can see them laying the groundwork for future projects, and it will be interesting to see if the Twi-hards follow their favorite actors to new stories.

Yesterday, we were able to glimpse Stewart in early productions stills for Walter Salles’ adaptation of Jack Kerouac’s “On the Road.” And now Patterson follows that up with the first official poster for his “Water for Elephants,” a period romance that he stars in with Reese Witherspoon. We get our first look courtesy of Yahoo! Movies.

“Elephants” stars Pattinson and Witherspoon in a film adaptation of Sara Gruen’s novel about a veterinary student who joins the circus after his parents are killed.

Directed by Francis Lawrence, the film reaches theaters on April 15.
