Lohan faces a familiar attorney in alleged grand theft case
HollywoodNews.com: Lindsay Lohan will meet a familiar face at the L.A. County District Attorney Office when she’s charged with felony grand theft.
According to TMZ, Deputy District Attorney Danette Meyers is handling Lohan’s alleged jewelry theft case, marking the second time the veteran D.A. has prosecuted the 24-year-old actress. Meyers first prosecuted Lohan when she was arrested for multiple DUI’s, and was adamant about putting the troubled starlet behind bars for her behavior.
Meyers has twice been named Prosecutor of the Year and has a tough-as-nails reputation in L.A. County, TMZ reports. Her no-nonsense way of handling cases could mean a sizable amount of jail time for Lohan.
The charges against Lohan will be filed by the L.A. County District Attorney Office on Monday.
