    Gorgeous-Adam 😀

I think he will win, I hope for it, I am heart and soul by Adam’s side.
Good luck sweet and wild angel!

I know he should win! Not think it, will he, probably not- He’s been dissed one too many times that has sadly made me have no respect for the music industry. Good luck- Rock God and America, please restore my faith in you again!

I really think that Adam should win! He does great music, great concerts and is such a great person! Hopefully, music industry will see his talent and not only his sexuality or something like that!

  • February 6, 2011 | Permalink |

Don’t think he will win. He has been black listed.

Adam Lambert is without a doubt the BEST male singer on the planet right now since Michael Jackson is no longer with us, so it should definitely be Adam who takes home the Grammy for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance. His four octave vocal range is unmatched by all of the others out there who have to strain to hit notes in only one octave range. His exciting, mesmerizing and charismatic live performances leave his audiences in a trance for several days afterwards, asking what just happened and is this guy’s voice for real? He doesn’t need autotune gimmicks or lip synching and gives 500% of himself when performing. Adam has more than earned a Grammy this year with his amazing 114 sold out shows throughout the USA, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii, Scandanavia, Europe and the UK from June through December, 2010!

Ditto CNB’s comment. They said it so eloquently and perfectly. 🙂

  • February 6, 2011 | Permalink |

Yes, I’m so hopeful! God knows no one deserves this award more than Adam. He is a breathe of fresh air in music industry. Adam, I love you keep on rocking the world!

  • February 6, 2011 | Permalink |

If Adam Lambert doesn’t win in Best Male Pop VOCAL PERFORMANCE (note the words in caps!) then it will be a complete travesty!! (But it wouldn’t be the first time the voting was messed up!) GO ADAM!

  • February 6, 2011 | Permalink |

Who do I think should win? Well, it’s simple. The only one person alive who deserves it….And that person can only be and should be : Adam Lambert. He is the most talented person on the planet. He so much deserves this. It will be a shame if he doesn’t win. It already is a shame that he isn’t performing. I do not even understand that. Yes, it is an honor for him to be nominated but let’s get real. If he did sing the acoustic version of WWFM, it would be the best vocal performance of the night. I’m not even interested in watching it this year but I will because I know the camera will pan in on him and I want to see him because he is my favorite ever in the many years I’ve been alive. He is mega-talented and completely gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!!

Adam Lambert will not win the award. He has been tarred for all time because of one unfortunate performance at last year’s American Music Awards. I predict he will eventually move to Europe where he can be fully appreciated. Other artists have had to do this. It is not the end of the world except for America, where excellence is not the first consideration.

  • February 6, 2011 | Permalink |

There isn’t anyone more hardworking in the business, and no one alive can match his vocal ability. If the Grammys are about talent, our man will be bringing home some hardware to display in his new home.

It would make my day if Adam wins the Grammy..but, I’m not gonna hold my breath..it really does seem that he is being black listed..I simply do not understand WHY he is not being promoted more…ALOT more..we should have seen him as a guest on TV shows, in commercials for ..well, for just about anything and maybe even on the big screen by now..good grief..that little boy Beiber has got a movie, guest appearances, a line of nail polish and many millions in the bank..and HE CANNOT SING!!! What the #@%$$ is up with that???????

  • February 6, 2011 | Permalink |

Best Male Pop Vocal Performance should go to Adam Lambert. He has vocals that are extraordinary. His song WWFM showcased his vocals and couldn’t have been a better fit for him. I hope he gets this recognition from his peers. He eats, lives and breathes music and he deserves this honor.

  • February 6, 2011 | Permalink |

If the award is indeed given for best VOCAL performance there is no doubt who should win, but I think other things will come into play. John Mayer has won this several times so it’s obvious what kind of music is preferred by the voters. They’re not exactly cutting edge – LOL.
I do not however think the AMA performance will mean a thing. It’s so 2009.

    adam should win.

  • February 6, 2011 | Permalink |

Do I think Adam Lambert is going to win??? Not sure….but, he has been ignored sooo much in the music industry it makes me think he will not get it and that would be a shame. Does he honestly deserve the award??? YES!!!!! He SHOULD be a Sure Fire Winner!!!!

  • February 6, 2011 | Permalink |

IT ADAM LAMBERT WINS ON GRAMMY NITE,THE TRUE WINNER WILL BE TALENT AND ALL OF US WILL BE THE BETTER FOR IT….IT WOULD BE A FIRST STEP AWAY FROM AUTOTUNE AND LIP SYNCING THAT DOMINATES THIS PRESENT MUSIC INDUSTRY…TALENT HAS NOT GONE OUT OF STYLE BUT THESE DAYS IT IS HARDER TO FIND, A LOOK AND BE ABLE TO MOVE LIPS ON COMMAND CAN MAKE YOU A POP STAR…..LET TAKE A PAGE FROM THE PAST,JANIS,FREDDY AND ELVIS….THEY COULD STAND ON A STAGE AND SING LIVE.SOMETHING MOST SINGERS CANNOT DO TODAY….EMBRACE THE PAST BY GRAMMY VOTING FOR TALENT,THE NAME OF THAT TALENT IS ADAM LAMBERT!!!!

  • February 6, 2011 | Permalink |

@Joannie I am trying to think positive and know that Adam should win BEST VOCAL PERFORMANCE. MJ’s won enought during his career and the other three just don’t have the vocals.
I have to admit I have thought the very same thing as you though. If that AMA performance has scarred him in the eyes of the music industry and if they can’t accept him ’cause he’s gay (I hate that “label”) then why wouldn’t he move to Europe. I was born there (now Canadian) and when I saw those amazing free and liberal concerts he was able to perform in Germany and Amsterdam I really loved his superb “over the top” performance – kinda thought he was so comfortable there.
However, I am going to give the Grammys a chance and enjoy Mick Jagger and Muse and glimpses of Adam. MAYBE the Grammy group aren’t as narrow-minded as I think. Have my doubts sometimes though.

You are writing articles about fans now?

That’s nice, but please don’t put words into my mouth. I’m an Adam Lambert fan and I don’t think he is going to win the Grammy.

  • February 6, 2011 | Permalink |

@bettyb Agree with you that SonyRCA has not done their absolute best at promoting Adam.
A couple of singles on the radio would help until the next cd is released. Seems to me that we fans do most of the promoting. Voting for him on polls, requesting songs on radio……and more. He has the looks and charisma for commercials and tv appearances to spread the word about his Grammy nomination
May I’m just a rabid fan that wants everything for Adam in his first year year but your right Bieber is being marketed so well so what the F—k is going on here.

  • February 6, 2011 | Permalink |

If ADAM doesn’t win the GRAMMY I won’t be surprised … nothing the American Music Industry of today does will surprise me … but If ADAM WINS the GRAMMY as well he should … I’ll be OTT *THRILLED* … and it will certainly HELP to restore my HOPE for the American Music Industry. They are in DIRE need for their autotuned .. lip synching … artists who really should LEARN how to sing!!! ADAM LAMBERT is a breath of LIFE to this music industry and can RE-Vitalize what is needed today!! IF THEY GIVE HIM A CHANCE!!

  • February 6, 2011 | Permalink |

I am an Adam fan and like the vast majority of Adam fans, I am pleased he was nominated, will be happy if he wins but do not expect him to win the Grammy this year.

It is a bit odd to write an article that assumes that an online poll that is certainly not representative of Adam fans and present it like it means anything.

  • February 6, 2011 | Permalink |

If the votes go for sentimentality then MJ will win. If they vote for best vocal performance as the title says, then Adam must win. If they vote for popularity, then the other 3 stand a chance but are definitely not superior vocally to Adam. Eventually, given time, he will win over those that resist. He is irresistible and once he’s in he’ll “Own your Heart”. Open up your heart and your ears, resistance is futile.

  • February 6, 2011 | Permalink |

Well Adam Lambert fans are definitely convinced he should win the Grammy. I will be sad if MJ gets it for a song he would never have agreed to release. It isn’t up to his standard at all. Bruno has several noms and Adam’s voice is simply better. It is one of the best out there.

  • February 6, 2011 | Permalink |

Adam deserves this, but I too am not holding my breath mainly due to the popularity of the other choices. But wow…look at the company he’s in already! Would LOVE to see him win of course. Fan for life!! No doubt in my mind who had THE best male vocal performance!! Can’t wait for the next album or ANYTHING else he releases. I sure wish SOMEONE would create a DVD of the live tour performances. Suz526s vids on a DVD would sell like hotcakes!!!

Lambert should take this award since I’m a Jackson fan and he’s no longer with us and he’s earned over 387 awards in his life but now let someone else take it I mean who will take is Michael won I mean who bury the grammy with his remains c’mon well Lambert I wish you luck and for Michael whose watching us from the beyond is resting in peace is he were alive right now he would’ve have withdrew from the nomination since he was never competitive

  • February 6, 2011 | Permalink |

“Completely convinced” that he will win? NO. Completely convinced that he SHOULD win? YES

The one and only Rock God Adam Lambert

  • February 7, 2011 | Permalink |

What a way to JINX Adam Lambert’s chances at the GRAMMYS. I agree with another poster, don’t ASSUME that all Adam Lambert fans know that he will win. We all WISH he will win, but it’s a really political night (not just musical) and a lot depends on who your label and management is friends with on the academy, not necessarily who sings best.

  • February 7, 2011 | Permalink |

It should be Adam but having seen the list of performers for the Grammy show (ie Hand Puppet’s, Green with the F…word) rather than Adam, nothing will surprise me. Blacklisting Adam for the AMA’s is sad and pathetic when compaired to EVERYTHING else I see and hear in music and film today. And I do mean EVERYTHING!

Quoting CNB : “Adam Lambert is without a doubt the BEST male singer on the planet right now since Michael Jackson is no longer with us, so it should definitely be Adam who takes home the Grammy for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance. This says it all and then some!! If Adam is blacklisted – it’s way too sad to comprehend. Vocal ability, personality, looks, humanitarianism, talent, he’s got it all!!! If there is a World “Grammy” type competition, he would win hands down!
We LOVE Adam and support him all the way. No matter if he wins the Grammy or not. Just give him the credit he deserves. I am nearly 50 years old, have listened and played music all my life – this guy is unbelievably talented. He knows how to use his voice, and no manner of electronic auto tuning overdubs are necessary for him at all. Zero.
Give him a break! He is the best.

I am a 62 year old Latina lady and I have seen so many singers come and go. I want to write these short lines to the ones in the academy who pick the winners in a category: Please do not be prejudiced against Adam Lambert. He is a young man with such talent that the American idol show changed to the Adam Lambert concert. Paula Abdul and the rest of the judges there would comment on how Adam was in a class of his own. No one in that competition could out sing him. He should have won American Idol. Ask Smoky Robinson why he gave Adam a standing ovation. That was the best season -EVER. Please judge Adam on merit. Be fair. Michael jackson would have loved Adam. Give Michael Jackson a special award apart from the pop singer grammy. We all loved Michael but if he could vote right now, he would vote for the superstar and best vocalist-Adam Lambert.

  • February 13, 2011 | Permalink |

Adam deserves to win tonight! I do hope he will continue to keep his personal life to himself and show the world more and more talent! and win, win, win every award there there is! Adam has my standing ovation!
