‘Glee’ star understands both sides of Lea Michele controversy

HollywoodNews.com: Lea Michele has been blasted over two magazine photo shoots recently and one of her ‘Glee’ costars is seeing both sides of the issue.

Lea Michele has been slammed over her covers for ‘GQ’ and most recently ‘Cosmopolitan’ as some believed they were too sexy when young children watch her on ‘Glee.’ Costar Max Adler is speaking up in the matter, saying both sides might be right, states E! News.

“I understand what the parents are saying. At the same time, Lea is over 18, over 21, and she looks great. She’s a beautiful woman. I think it’s up to her, but I could see why parents could get a little upset,” Adler defended both sides of the argument.

Do you think Lea Michele should tone down her sex appeal?

she shouldnt have to tone down her outfits on photo shoots which may or may not be related to “Glee”. no matter how it may seem wether a bit too scanty or whatever. All im saying is she cant refuse to do photo shoots because of something that has to do with a t.v. show where she plays or ACTS as someone. Rachel Barry is a character. She doesnt have to be like her. This is becoming too common as we see with Miley Cyrus, im not ganna go there bcuz this isint about her but im just trying to prove a point that stars shouldnt have to refuse other working positions or other publicity because of a current job which may or may not be a true representation of them. I mean come on is Lea ganna have to dress like a granny becuase her character does? Some people just need to stop looking at people as their characters and look at them for who they are, age and personality and all! Love Lea MIchele <3 do more stuff like this. its refreshing to see you outside of how we normally do.

How young are the kids that glee is really targeted at? Cuz they are all upperclassmen in high school and mostly all are at least 21 in real life. I agree with steven’s comment that you can’t confuse the person with the character, although the photo shoot was a bit “glee-themed” with the high school imagery. If parents have problems with their kids watching the show, they need to not let them watch it. Simple.
