Lindsay Lohan defends her actions … on Twitter

Hollywoodnews.com: As part of her Miranda rights, Lindsay Lohan was given the right to remain silent.

She really should have listened.

Instead, the troubled starlet has taken to Facebook and Twitter to defend herself against theft charges … and everyone knows from past experiences that it’s rarely a good idea to play these legal cases out in the court of public opinion.

“I would never steal, in case people are wondering,” the convicted felon and rehab resident wrote on her Twitter page. “I was not raised to lie, cheat, or steal.”

You read Dinah Lohan’s parenting book, right?

As for the skin tight dress Lohan wore to court, she argued, “What I wear to court shouldnt be front page news. It’s just absurd.”

If Lohan doesn’t want to be in the news, she should stop stealing. Out on $40,000 bail, Lohan pleaded, “I just want to be on set again, and left alone to just work!”

Good luck with that.
