Miley Cyrus making “Saturday Night Live” debut in March

By Sean O’Connell Miley Cyrus will host “Saturday Night Live” on March 5, it’s being reported. It will be her first appearance on the late-night variety program.

The singer-actress, who recently wrapped filming on the comedy “So Undercover,” will not be the evening’s musical guest, Access Hollywood is reporting.

But you can bet that the 18-year-old performer will make fun of herself as part of Vanessa Bayer’s recurring “The Miley Cyrus Show,” which places cast member Bayer as the host of a bogus talk show and paints Cyrus in vapid brushstrokes. The sketch often is saved by the evening’s guest host (like Anne Hathaway impersonating Katie Holmes), of by Jason Sudeikis as Miley’s dad, Billy Ray.
