New Celebrity Apprentice to be “crazy good”

Lil John

By Kim Palacios “Crazy Good.” is the tagline for the new Celebrity Apprentice, and with the cast of characters Donald Trump assembled, the “crazy” rings true. Enjoying a spot on the 2011 season are some of Hollywood’s least stable personalities, some of whose highest claim to fame is notoriously outlandish behavior.

They didn’t all start out crazy. Gary Busey is an Oscar-nominated actor. Meatloaf won a Grammy. Dionne Warwick and LaToya Jackson were recording world icons before they made psychic friends. Jose Canseco enjoyed an illustrious baseball career until his steroids scandal. Yet most new members of Trump’s cast are many years past their prime.

Other recent stars, such as “Real Housewife of Atlanta” Nene Leaks are holding on to new (and probably short-lived) fame. Milder personalities, such as actress Marlee Matlin, singer Mark McGrath, and supermodel Niki Taylor may counterbalance the crazies, but it’s still anyone’s game. The top contender? Possibly Richard Hatch, winner of the first season of “Survivor”.
