Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart breakup rumors are bogus

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson

By Kim Palacios

hollywoodnews.com: Though dozens of otherwise credible media outlets (including MTV UK), jumped on Life & Style’s recent Twilight stars breakup piece, the “facts” cited within the story couldn’t make less sense. It suggested that a split between Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson was imminent, given what it said were fierce jealousies on the part of Stewart for Pattinson’s female co-stars; yet it cited the names of colleagues Pattinson hasn’t been around in months, if ever.

Uma Thurman, Reese Witherspoon, and Keira Knightley were all named as potential threats to Stewart. Yet, both “Bel Ami” and “Water for Elephants” are long past filming, and “Cosmopolis” hasn’t even begun. At the moment, Pattinson and Stewart are working on the same two films (“The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn” parts 1 and 2), and it has been reported that Knightley will not even co-star with Pattinson in “Cosmopolis”.

Further, when Pattinson does run into Thurman and Witherspoon again, it will be briefly, to promote their respective films. If “Life & Style” expects fans to believe that Stewart and Pattinson will break up, it should write a more credible story.

Of course they haven’t broken up. They would have to be together in the first place in order to break up now.
