By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: Hulu Plus just got cooler.

The online content provider announced an exclusive partnership with the Criterion Collection to house a comprehensive library of the Criterion Collection archive. For a list of the titles being made available, click http://www.hulu.com/criterion.

Ingmar Bergman, Charlie Chaplin, Federico Fellini, Jean-Luc Godard, Akira Kurosawa, François Truffaut and Orson Welles are just a few of the legendary directors celebrated in the more-than-800-film-deep library.

The partnership kicks off today, though the library will grow past 800 titles in the coming months.

From the release:

This rich cannon includes high-quality films that have never before been on DVD or Blu-ray, and supplemental features like audio commentaries, restored director’s cuts, deleted scenes, documentaries, and more. A selection of Criterion titles will also rotate through free ad-supported Hulu.com in curated lineups.
