‘90210’s’ Teddy to get a new love interest?

By Greg Hernandez

HollywoodNews.com: How quickly ‘90210’ has forgotten my dear, sweet Ian who underwent a ridiculous personality change in what turned out to be his final scene on the show.

I expressed my feelings last week about how very poorly I feel this was handled.

But in high school, life goes on – especially at the fictional West Beverly High.

Teddy is adjusting to being out to all his friends and to being without Ian who he remains angry with for blackmailing him into coming out (such a stupid plot develpopment)

So Teddy is sitting in class and the teacher is talking about Alexander the Great and how sexual orientation was not such a big deal to the Greeks. Some punk kid in the class cracks that Teddy was born in the wrong era.

Teddy suffers in silence and later we see him smacking tennis balls off of a rooftop as he talks to ex-girlfriend Silver who assures him that now that he is out, good things will happen. I really like that girl and I really like how the show has handled their relationship since Teddy came out.

Teddy here’s someone yell out – that someone is a hunky dude named Marco and Teddy has hit him with his tennis ball. He and Silver go down to check on Marco and as they chat, Teddy mentions that he and Silver were on the roof taking about Teddy’s recent break-up with a guy.
