New “Twilight” doll for Jasper fans
By Kim Palacios
hollywoodnews.com: The Jasper doll may be late to the party but has shown up looking fantastic. With honey blonde hair feathered back just so, the doll portrays one of the more flattering interpretations of the “Twilight Saga” character.
The Tonner Doll Company previewed the figure at Toy Fair 2011, where its first Jasper doll stood alongside a revamped Alice. In previous releases, Tonner has produced multiple interpretations of Bella and Edward, including each of them in costumes identical to those shown in the prom scene in “Twilight” and Bella’s birthday party scene in “New Moon”. Tonner even released Victoria, James, and Laurent dolls featuring the characters in their “Twilight” costumes. “New Moon” renditions of Jacob and Alice were released in 2010.
But if you want a piece of Jasper, the price won’t be cheap. Tonner’s Twilight dolls currently sell for between $140 and $180. The company said that its Jasper could hit the market as early as June.
