Alice Eve added to growing “Men In Black” sequel

By Sean O’Connell Word circulating the Internet yesterday said that Barry Sonnenfeld’s third “Men In Black” has hit a scripting snag, and that the production was on hiatus as the creative team figured out in which direction they wanted to head.

Apparently they decided to make the movie more sexy. Deadline is reporting that stone-cold fox Alice Eve (“Sex and the City 2”) has joined an ensemble that currently includes Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones, Emma Thompson and Josh Brolin.

Eve would play a younger version of Thompson’s character Oh, the new head of MIB who has taken over for Rip Torn. Brolin plays a younger version of Jones’ agent, as a bulk of the film reportedly takes place in 1969, where a time-traveling Smith must head.

Deadline reports that “MIB III” will resume production next month, and that the crew worked on fine-tuning the script over a longer-than-expected holiday hiatus.

As of right now, Sonnenfeld’s third “Men” will be in theaters on May 25, 2012.
