David Letterman “apologizes” to Lindsay Lohan and family

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: David Letterman “apologized” to Lindsay Lohan during his “Late Show” program last night for the confusion swirling around the celebrity’s alleged appearance. Lohan reportedly was going to read the Top 10 list for Letterman until it was revealed that Lohan did not agree to the guest spot and shot it down.

“This is going to be fantastic. This is going to be like the Super Bowl,” Letterman joked. “It turns out we were duped … and boy, is my face red.”

Watch the Letterman apology here before it gets pulled:

It also was revealed that the “rep” who booked Lohan on the Letterman show without consulting Lindsay was LiLo’s “father,” Michael.

He claims, however, that her publicist, Leslie Sloane, was against the idea.

“Leslie Sloane ruined Lindsay’s life and career. Every time I set up something positive for Lindsay, they stop it,” Michael claims, adding that Lindsay was into the idea.

That’s right. Leslie Sloane ruined Lindsay’s career. Not Lindsay. Never Lindsay.
