Justin Bieber’s ‘Rolling Stone’ writer defends comments

HollywoodNews.com: Justin Bieber has gotten a lot of heat over his comments made about some controversial topics in an interview with ‘Rolling Stone,’ but now the writer is stepping up and defending the young star.

Vanessa Grigoriadis revealed that Bieber didn’t have all his people around telling him when he should stop talking, so he spoke openly about these topics, states PopEater. Bieber’s most controversial comment was made in relation to abortion, as well as abortion in the case of rape.

While Bieber said “everything happens for a reason,” the writer doesn’t think he meant rape happens for a reason. “I think he meant that God has a plan,” Grigoriadis commented, adding, “I think he was wrestling with that in his answer, which I found to be solid and logical. I think it is being widely misunderstood. He did not say that rape was part of God’s plan.”

It sad to see such a young person so opinionated, with the arrogance that can only come from a ideology – in his case his religion.

I seriously doubt Justin is even old enough to fully understand what he is saying and that what forcing a rape victim to give birth would actually mean and could do to the person. Justin Bieber is a child; his comments about something like this don’t count for much really. I’m glad they don’t give the vote to under 18’s.

Justin Bieber will no doubt grow up though.
