Hollywoodnews.com: There are nine days left until the 83rd Annual Academy Awards are held at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, and the Academy is ramping up its publicity push to make sure America’s tuning in to see rookie hosts James Franco and Anne Hathaway.

To kick start the countdown, the Academy has launched the “Road to the Oscars” video series, which will take viewers behind the scenes of the films involved in this year’s awards race (and provide insight into the race, itself).

The first segment, hosted by Chris Harrison and featuring by EW.com’s Dave Karger, is up now at http://oscar.go.com, and new segments will be posted daily.

As a reminder, the 10 films nominated for Best Picture this year are:
“Black Swan”
“The Fighter”
“The Kids Are All Right”
“The King’s Speech”
“127 Hours”
“The Social Network”
“Toy Story 3”
“True Grit”
“Winter’s Bone”

Which film will prevail? Tune in one week from Sunday and find out.
