Adam Lambert gets praise for voice and glam by Boy George
HollywoodNews.com: Adam Lambert has quickly been taking over the music industry and Boy George thinks that the former ‘American Idol’ contestant deserves all of his success.
In a recent interview, Boy George revealed that he is a fan of Lambert’s, states The Hollywood Reporter. “I think he has a great voice and an incredible range. It’s phenomenal. It’s special,” Boy George said, adding that he did meet him once and found him to be “lovely.”
But Boy George also thinks his look adds a lot to his whole music career and appeal: “I think the glam thing adds to that. It gives him an edge.”

I love the way he owns the stage and sings (never have I seen him live, but even from my PC, he makes me feel good — which is what music should do, I think….). Make-up or no make-up, YOU’RE ENTERTAINING. Thanks Adam, you just make my day and I support your music (by purchasing your CD) and your causes (by donating). Having worked for a non-profit, I appreciate your philanthropic passion! So excited for your DVD – to be released on my birthday; now I have something to brag about other than sharing my birthday with William Shatner and Bob Costas, (not that there’s anything wrong with that).
Hell ya, I agree with boy george. Adam is so underrated with his genious musical abilites because so many people just don’t get him or even have any idea just how well he can sing. He’s amazing (as all us fans know), but the general population has no idea just how GOOD he really is. So sad in this autotuned-manfactured world we have today.

THEN LONG TIME LATER ADAM LAMBERT AUDITIONED FOR AI AND SINCE THEN I HAVE BEEN AN AVID FAN…DON’T TWITTER AT ALL, BUT LOOK UP ADAM NEWS EVERY MORNING TO SEE WHAT IS NEW WITH HIM….HE WAS IN THE MIDWEST A LOT THIS GNT AND I WENT TO A LOT OF HIS SHOWS. BOY GEORGE HAS IT RIGHT HE IS MARVELOUS…
Have to agree with lb. Had Adam performed on the Grammys with music from his FYE cd like maybe Soaked, millions of new fans would have seen a completely different side of him and be exposed to his beautiful voice and would have erased their memories of him as ‘”just an American Idol runner up”. You’re right, some people just don’t get him however we loyal and devoted fans are of a different opinion. He is fearless and has been a groundbreaker from the beginning, always willing to take risks. That’s what I love about him.
I can’t wait to see how different the next cd will be. Have heard he said “less glitter, more leather”.
(btw, re: American Idol. Really getting sick of those comparisons of Durbin to Lambert. After Lambert Idol is dead. The only entertainment is Steven Tyler.)
Couldn’t agree more wiithBG about Adam, have loved him since he stepped onto the AI stage in 2008-can’t get every little thing he puts out fast enough, not really as obsessed as I sound, just love his voice, his charisma, his generosity, he is the whole entire package, his voice has gotten me through many grueling, long workouts on the Elyptical, and his softer side tunes have lulled me to sleep many nights as if someone were rocking me in a cradle filled with magical stars.
