Charlie Sheen thinks he has addiction beat, hates AA

HollywoodNews.com: Charlie Sheen wants to make it very clear that he can easily beat addiction and he certainly doesn’t need AA for it.

During an interview with the ‘Alex Jones Show,’ Sheen reportedly said that right now he is addicted to “winning,” states RadarOnline.com. “My success rate is 100%,” Sheen reportedly claimed.

Sheen also took the chance to slam Alcoholics Anonymous: “I finally extracted myself from their troll hole and started living my life the way I want to live it.”

The ‘Two and a Half Men’ star also apparently thinks that he is fully in control now: “Debate me on AA right now. I have a disease? Bulls**t. I cured it right now with my mind.”

What do you think about Charlie Sheen’s comments?

I don’t find his comments newsworthy or surprising. Hearing an addict rant about injustices, persecution, in a self-aggrandizing message is very common. I’m not shocked or surprised. It has nothing to do with judging the individual. The guy has a disease, and he is biting the hands that are trying to help him. This is also very common. What the press did was give this guy a national platform for addiction awareness. In trying to slam those in AA, he stregthened their position. I wish Charlie the best and hope he finds recovery.
